Palo Alto, Calif. and Toronto – June 06, 2016Flybits, Inc., the first provider of a context-as-a-service solution for mobile apps, announced today it was named in Gartner’s Cool Vendors in Platform as a Service (PaaS) 2016 report. Vendors, including Flybits, were selected for the report because they offer new platform opportunities for business and IT in response to increasing demand for intelligent business operations with cloud levels of scale, agility and responsiveness.

Flybits launched the world’s first and only cloud-based context-as-a-service solution last September, radically simplifying how organizations bring personalization to their mobile channels. Since then, Flybits has experienced continued growth and industry recognition. This includes an exclusive agreement within the Canadian financial services industry to collaborate on providing TD Bank Group customers with more personalized mobile banking experiences, as well as selection as one of Canada’s Companies-to-Watch in the 2015 Deloitte Technology Fast 50. Earlier this year, Flybits also added a rule builder to its cloud-based Experience Studio for mobile personalization and experience management. With its new visual rule editing capabilities, enterprises are able to modify app behavior instantly, without coding.

“Many organizations are seeking new, better-researched insights to support advanced intelligence in their business systems,” said Gartner Analyst Yefim Natis. “Context data is the material representation of this insight. Mobile apps will increasingly depend on context awareness to deliver intimately personal user experiences. IoT, with its real-time device-data streaming, increases the urgency of some decisions, which in turn require greater automation; automation must be contextual to minimize unwanted and poor outcomes.”

“Our product is now empowering large enterprises to design their next generation of mobility services in an easy way that reduces friction between business units, and that is great validation for us,” said Flybits Founder and CEO Hossein Rahnama. “Flybits is the only solution that allows enterprises to aggregate and unify public, sensory, and secure in-house data into a context hub. This allows them to extend the intelligence of their mobile channels, and create new and unique experiences for their customers and staff.”
