How did you get into the startup industry?
Since an early age, I’ve been exposed to start-ups and have been interested to see how ideas can evolve into thriving and successful businesses. I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to take that interest and turn it into a career. I’ve appreciated the start-up culture around innovation and solving complex problems and turning those into big wins.

Who is your greatest mentor?
Over the years, I’ve had a few mentors that have supported my professional and personal development. I recognized early on that having a mentor to provide guidance and challenge your thinking helps you think about the unobvious and morph your mindset.

What do you like about your current role?
Working at Flybits allows me to solve digital product problems by leveraging data to deliver contextual data driven experiences. I’m thrilled to work with a team of product and design pros who are passionate about what they do.

What’s the secret to success?
Success is a combination of grit, commitment, failure, sacrifice, and a constant dedicated focus. Coffee also helps!

Tell me about your key past work experiences?
My experience in the technology and product space spans across several industries, including Financial Services, Government and Healthcare, along with a few start-ups of my own). Within the Financial Services sector, I had the opportunity to build out payment products and data driven experiences for large Financial Services institutions.

“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”

How would you describe yourself?
Zen master.

Lunch; sometimes crackers.
